Alice Marzi

Alice Marzi is a candidate for M.A. in Counter Terrorism and Homeland Security at The Interdisciplinary Centre (Herzliya, Israel) with interests in, but not limited to terrorism and counter-terrorism, anatomy of terrorist organization, cooperation between terrorist actors, civil wars and insurgencies.
She obtained her Bachelor degree in July 2016 at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, where she graduated with a thesis on the European Union’s measures to counter the terrorism threat.
Her professional experiences include a NATO workshop seminar on Libya and the Middle East updates organized by the NATO Defence College in Rome in 2016, and an internship at the International Institute for Counter Terrorism in Israel, where she researched the Islamic radicalization level in the Italian society.
Alice is currently interning at the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) in Geneva, Switzerland.
