Kenneth Yeo

Kenneth Yeo is a Research Analyst in the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research (ICPVTR) in the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) based in Singapore since July 2018. He specialises in Islamist terrorism and insurgency in Southeast Asia. He is a frequent contributor for "The Diplomat" magazine and the "Counter Terrorism Trends and Analyses" journal. He was a research intern in the International Institute for Counter Terrorism (ICT) based in Herzliya, Israel from March 2017 to June 2018. During his stint at ICT, he researched on the radicalisation of Muslim converts in Europe. In Israel, he participated and was the runner up for the Regonis Scholarship for his research on the impacts of leadership decapitation in terrorist organisation. Kenneth's research interests includes foreign fighting in Southeast Asia, maritime terrorism, Southeast Asian terrorist use of social media, and terrorist tactical innovation in Southeast Asia.
